Netball has never been a game of half-measures.
Sharp, fast, uncompromising. A game played with intensity and with heart. From community courts to the global arenas, it has always carried a charge.
Now, with a new brand identity, the game steps into its future with a look that match its power with a boldness, magnetism that is impossible to ignore.
This identity is more than design. It is a declaration.
A reminder of who we are and where we’re going. A reflection of the foundations laid by generations who built the sport, and a signal of the new era emerging.
At its centre sits a call to attention: Brace Yourself.
Two words that carry the breath before a centre pass, the tension before bodies rise and time stands still, the eruption when the goal drops, the surge of adrenaline as the game breaks open. It signals to fans, to players, and to the world: something extraordinary is about to unfold.
The visual identity takes its cues from the game itself. Circles and arcs echo the geometry of the court. Lines mirror the pathways of a ball in flight. Textures recall the grip of the ball, the weave of the net, the speed of movement as teams surge forward. A colour palette alive with bold energy, unapologetic and unmissable, just like the sport.
At its heart sits COUNTRY CALLS - a collaboration between Gomeroi and Kooma artist Ginny Jones and First Nations creative agency YarnnUp Collective.
This artwork pulses with life, calling the world to gather on Wangal Country. It honours the snapper, a creature of deep significance to Sydney’s First Nations peoples and celebrates the Gymea lily that is a symbol of resilience under pressure and blooming fiercely even in the harshest conditions.
Words woven throughout the artwork remind us that the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 will be our biggest moment yet. It is where culture meets court, where sport becomes story, where Sydney opens itself to the world.
It is brand that is an invitation: to the loyal, the new, the curious, and the committed. To the fans who have carried the game for decades, and to those discovering its brilliance for the first time.
To communities across every continent where netball is played, and to those who will meet it anew in Sydney.
It is for all of us. A reminder that netball embraces everyone, and that this moment belongs to everyone.
This brand channels the spirit of netball itself. It celebrates the strength of its foundations, surges with the electricity of the present, and strides boldly into what comes next. It reflects a game that thrives under lights and pressure and a sport that unites millions.
It’s going to be impossible to ignore.
Brace Yourself.
