Gilbert Netball continues its long-standing partnership with World Netball (WN) that began in 2005, with next year’s tournament marking its sixth consecutive Netball World Cup as the Official and Exclusive Ball Supplier.
The design showcases NWC2027’s Country Calls branding, a First Nations artwork by Kamilaroi artist Ginny Jones which captures the electric energy of the tournament, symbolising where culture meets court and the pull of gathering – the same force that will draw the world to Sydney from August 25 to September 5 2027.
Jane Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer, NWC2027, said:
“We are delighted to reveal our official Gilbert match ball for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 which showcases the tournament’s unique and striking Country Calls artwork and brings together the stories of the past with our vision for this groundbreaking event.”
“First Nations storytelling honouring the connection between community and country, along with our Brace Yourself branding, feature prominently on the official Gilbert ball and represent an important part of bringing our bold vision to life.”
